Utility risk
Possible utility involvement changes the first step at a Jerome property. Keep distance from any tree, limb, fence, vehicle, tool, or standing water that could be connected to electrical equipment. Do not assume a quiet line is safe, and do not touch or move branches near a line. Contact the appropriate utility or emergency authority when a line is down, pulled, sparking, or creating an immediate public-safety risk; a tree-service request does not replace that call. From a safe location, report the address, what appears to be involved, blocked access, occupancy, and any instructions already received. Do not cut, drag, or reposition material around the utility area.
